EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO cover curious creatures

We didn't mean that quite how it sounded ... Hey, it got you to smile (hopefully!).

Who are we?
Curious Creatures believes in a world where personal empowerment, sexual freedom, diversity of expression, and spectacularly good communication skills are the norm. It's one thing to agree that, in theory, consent and communication and safety are important. Putting that into practice, however, is a little harder. We help people 'do the do'.

How?
  • We run a wide range of 30+ sexuality and communication workshops (online, pre-recorded, and in-person - primarily in Melbourne Australia but also interstate).
  • We run a monthly sexuality event with ~140 people, Curiosity, that is all about consent put into practice, and celebrating diversity. It's a more sex-positive world, in action. Read an external review.
  • We host a sexuality podcast.
  • We write sexuality articles.
  • We speak.
  • We run online courses.
  • We offer private counselling.
  • We teach consent coupled with hedonistic fun! We welcome everyone, teach them to respect their own and others' boundaries, and help them develop their sexuality at their own perfect pace.

Curious Creatures has been running for nine years, and has educated over ten-thousand people in sex-positivity.  We appear to be the largest provider of such services in Australia.

roger butler

Rog has been creating and facilitating Curious Creatures' wide range of sexuality and self-development workshops for nine years. Prior to this their background was in counselling, facilitation, small-business, and community development.

They're easily one of Australia's most prolific sexuality workshop facilitators. Their training includes Process Oriented Psychology and group facilitation, coupled with extensive sexuality education.

They were brought up white, middle-class, mostly heterosexual, and male. In addition to that lineage, they now identify as kinky, tantric, polyamorous, queer, and very, very curious!

Rog is available for interviews, speaking engagements, and can be commissioned to write articles. Book them.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Dossie Easton (San Francisco)
Author of 'The Ethical Slut',  'The New Topping Book', 'The New Bottoming Book',  'Radical Ecstasy', and  'When Someone you love is Kinky'

"Recently I was privileged to share a day of teaching with Rog, and to enjoy his expertise at facilitating group experience. In this instance, he skilfully transformed a group of participants mostly unknown to each other into a community, and welcomed the diversity of experience in sex and gender that enriched our weekend intensive.

As a teacher, Rog always shines brightly, offering a series of participatory exercises facilitating communication about identities and orientations that affirmed everyone’s life choices, and were also downright fun."
