Tickets
Our 'rounds' of tickets are really simple: they're all the same, except that some of them are cheaper, to encourage you to book in early (because it makes a huge difference to us in terms of planning). Round One tickets are similar to 'early bird' tickets, and make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Two tickets, slightly more expensive than Round One, also make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Three tickets are generally only there once we're close to being sold out, but can squeeze in a late-comer or two. If you're feeling generous, you can buy whatever ticket feels right, but in general, folks buy the cheapest ones available. For this workshop, tickets range in price from $75 to $95, per person. Logistics LATE POLICY: Unless otherwise stated, workshops start at the advertised time, and doors will be locked ten minutes later. This is because late arrivals interrupt the dynamic of the group, and will miss crucial safety information. TICKETS ON DOOR?: All workshop tickets must be pre-purchased online, before the event. It is never possible to pay cash at the door; you will be turned away. More info at https://www.curiouscreatures.biz/faq.html |
To book into this workshop...
To book into any Curious Creatures workshop, we have a once-off application process that takes less than five minutes. Once you've done it, we will give you a level of access, and you can then book into as many workshops as you wish at that level of access. You can read more about this application process here. To apply, click here now. The couples version of this workshop requires 'Normal' or higher access. The singles version requires 'Singles' or higher. If you've already applied and received access, you can access the ticket-booking link here : RECORDED ONLINE VERSION: Find more info about the recorded online version for couples which you can watch any time, here. |
WHO THIS IS FOR AND NOT FOR...
VERSION FOR SINGLES (M/F pairings):
INTENSITY: Two out of four chillies. Most people experience this workshop as a gentle introduction, some experience it as challenging at times. WHO FOR: Those seeking: Communication skills with partners in relation to sex; deepened sexual connection with self and others; ways to access diverse and new forms of touch; and a stronger ability to articulate desires and boundaries. This version of Fun Little Sex Games is for single people (with male-female exercise pairings), rather than couples. WHO NOT FOR: Couples (who should look for the ‘couples’ version of this workshop), nor singles who would rather do mixed-gender pairings (see other version). WHAT EXERCISES / ACTIVITIES?: Some movement and stretching. Verbal discussion about yourself. Issuing requests, and saying ‘yes’ and ‘no’. Touch exercises that teach boundary-setting and communication. Touch exercises that teach different styles of touch. Eye-gazing and breathing. WILL THERE BE PAIR WORK? Yes. Lots. Please note, you only ever work to a level that's right for you, from cautious to delicious! You may also sit out of any exercise that is not right for you. HOW WILL PAIRING BE DONE? People that identify as women will be paired with people that identify as men at the start of each exercise. Although we control for gender balance via the ticketing process, it’s rarely exactly even, so you must be willing to work with people of any gender, occasionally. CAN YOU WORK EXCLUSIVELY with partner/s you arrive with? No. See the ‘couples’ version of this workshop instead. NUDITY: No genitals or buttocks. Sometimes, people expose bare chests, but there are no expectation or requirement around this. SEXUAL CONTENT: The workshop is primarily about sexuality and sexual expression. COMMITMENT: You may sit out of any activity, or participate only to a level that's right for you. RATIO of discussion to experiential: 20% discussion, 80% experiential. BRING: Water bottle, your own snacks. WEAR: Whatever you're comfortable in. |

"My partner and I have come away with new energy, ideas and ways of communicating. We learnt things about each other's bodies and how we like to be touched that we hadn't clearly communicated before, and are both enjoying the results!"
•
"Entertaining and fun! An opportunity to have many senses stimulated! Was impressed with how Rog made EVERYONE feel included with his skill and humour!"
•
"Thank you for being so thorough in your explanations and demonstrations of the exercises. You gave us a clear gauge to identify what our boundaries are and to what slightly uncomfortable point we could push them as a learning tool."
•
"Thank you for creating such a beautiful space and such wonderfully structured and inclusive activities."
•
"I really appreciate the skill and experience that you have shown here Rog, in setting up a sense of safety and ease in this space. It was graduated really well, and demonstrated the concepts you were teaching "in action". For me it was just relaxing, nurturing and easy. I was inspired to explore further "What I like" and enjoy the emphasis on not having to get anything Right. Getting "high" on Communication!"
•
"Hi, I want to let you know how much I loved and used your fun little sex games workshop. It's been 6 months since I took the course, and I'm still raving about it at parties, and uni, with playmates too, of course. Consent like this should be taught in schools! I wish I had come across it sooner. I would, and do, recommend it to anyone. I'm hoping to come to another workshop soon. Thank you."
•
"Amazing instruction/instructor! Warm, honest, intelligent and fun!"
•
"Loved it. Great mix, practical games that were fun and that I could put into practice."
•
"It was friendly and inviting, excellently structured and very inclusive, there actually wasn't anything that I disliked about it."
•
"I really enjoyed the workshop and learned a few things that will significantly improve my ability to connect and have fun. The techniques/exercises covered are so simple, effective and obvious that I'm really bummed out not having this knowledge earlier in my life. Thank you."
•
"Very inclusive and welcoming to all genders and presentations - really set the tone for that at the beginning really nicely. Super enthusiastic and interested host - infectious enthusiasm great. Time was good - just enough/ not too much. Nothing I didn't like."
•
"It was awesome. It was not only educational and safely interactive, it opened my eyes to a world I now want to be a part of. If everyone shared your views the world would be a much better place."
•
"Great. Eye opening. Made me realise a lot about myself and my negative attitudes around sex. Opened my eyes to possibilities for human connection. I look forward to future events."
•
"I very much enjoyed it. I felt safe pushing my boundaries and trying new things."
•
"Workshop was great! I liked all aspects!"
•
"I loved every minute."
•
"It was a casual and playful romp. I liked the atmosphere Rog created - it helped break the ice and created a safe space."
•
"Loved it! It was my first experience with Curious Creatures and I found it to be welcoming, nurturing, fascinating and stimulating. My favourite 'take-homes' were taking the time to be the giver and the receiver, and the indulgence game. Also loved the kink words like 'green, orange, red' – really helpful. And the idea of 'spreadsheeting the shit' out of sex (to quote Rog)! Been putting it all into practice since the workshop with delicious results. Thanks!"
