Fun little games and activities to support exploration of your sexuality and cultivate playful communication with your partners.
This online workshop presents a series of fun little games and activities to support exploration of your sexuality and cultivate playful communication with a partner. ‘Couples’, in this context, means any two people who are in a touch-based relationship. Watch the trailer below (of the pre-recorded version, for couples). Or scroll down for more workshop info about this 'live' online version (also for couples).
Why fumble around with intimate contact and hope for the best, when you could be having exactly what you want, at precisely the level you want it? Join us for a gradually deepening series of little games and activities that can easily be used as ongoing practices. Spice up your sex life with a partner.
Over three+ hours you will learn how to recognise what you want, understand your boundaries, communicate all of this to a partner, get better at dropping fully into 'giving' or 'receiving' mode, and - finally! - embed consent and negotiation into your sex-life in a way that reflects your brand of sexy.
This is achieved through a variety of exercises, some with touch, and some without. Both partners will need to be in the same room, with enough space to sit, stand, and lie down, and be free from distractions.
Facilitator: Roger Butler
Version: Couples (all orientations)
Fun Little Sex Games (online) is presented by Roger Butler, who’s been the principal facilitator and driving force behind Curious Creatures for nine years. Their training is in sexuality, facilitation, and counselling, and they’re easily one of Australia’s most prolific sexuality facilitators. Find out more about Rog and the team.
Read a writeup in The Sydney Morning Herald: 'Is it possible to reclaim passion and desire?'
This is one of ~30 workshops offered by Curious Creatures (Australia’s biggest provider in the field). If you’re interested in this event you may want to check out our related in-person workshops: Adventurous Touch and Intimacy, The Forest: Touch & Embodiment Ritual, An Introduction to Ethical Hook-Ups, the ‘Curiosity’ workshop and play-space (or the in-person version of Fun Little Sex Games).

Tickets
Our 'rounds' of tickets are really simple: they're all the same, except that some of them are cheaper, to encourage you to book in early (because it makes a huge difference to us in terms of planning). Round One tickets are similar to 'early bird' tickets, and make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Two tickets, slightly more expensive than Round One, also make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Three tickets are generally only there once we're close to being sold out, but can squeeze in a late-comer or two. If you're feeling generous, you can buy whatever ticket feels right, but in general, folks buy the cheapest ones available. For this workshop, tickets range in price from $55 to $85, per person. Technology For most people, a low level of technical knowledge is plenty for this workshop. PLATFORM BEING USED: Zoom (with registration) CAMERAS: All exercises involving touch are done in complete privacy, without your video or microphone. Some discussion activities are done with your video on, but your microphone off. HEADPHONES & MICROPHONES: Microphone quality is not important. TWO PEOPLE PER LAPTOP?: Yes, you are welcome to share a device for this workshop. ROOM: A reasonably quiet room, free from distractions, is needed. TIMING AND BREAKS: We recognise that Zoom has its advantages, but can be tiring. We include more breaks, accordingly. LATE POLICY: Workshops will be locked to new entrants a few minutes after the advertised start time, otherwise the workshop becomes confusing for you and other participants. |
