About curious creatures

Curious Creatures believes in sexual empowerment, self-development, community, consent, and communication.  We pursue these aims by running workshops, producing a podcast ('Curious Conversations About Sex'), hosting events, speaking publicly, and writing about topics close to our hearts.

We want you to feel like a Curious Creature, too.  We want you to feel safe enough and welcome enough to explore your inner world and the world around you, and we hope that we can offer you some supportive and appropriate resources along the way.

We're probably most known for our in-person workshops (of which we've run over 1,000, for over 20,000 people). If they look like they might be of interest to you, the first step is to fill in our application process; this only takes about five minutes, only needs to be done once, and helps us to make sure that people find the workshops that are right for them. Once done, you'll have access to a private area of our forum that allows you to see all workshops available to you at a glance on a calendar, and to buy tickets.
Our workshops include ones purely about self-development or social activities, couples workshops, singles workshops, and our adventurous 'Curiosity' event. Most people find 'Fun Little Sex Games' or 'Adventurous Touch and Intimacy' good spots to start, but have a good read of our workshop descriptions; we've tried hard to provide all the information you need to make an informed choice.

  • Our famous Consent Cards - "like sex education on a card!" as someone said.
  • Our podcast, Curious Conversations About Sex
  • Our forum - a way of connecting with other curious folks.

Whatever the case, follow your intuition, and if you're not sure about something, check out our detailed FAQ. If it's not covered there, please ask us.
