We want to love deeply ... feel deeply ... so let's listen.
Due to COVID-19 our in-person workshop versions are temporarily postponed. In the meantime you might want to check out our 'Online Social' as a possible solution to social isolation: https://www.curiouscreatures.biz/online-social.html
Or click on our 'Online Workshops' menu to see everything on offer.
Do you know the difference between hearing and listening?
Have you been told you don't listen?
Would you like to be a better listener?
In this session, we will practice deep listening - not just for the words, and what they mean... but more … This is a practice circle where there is no teacher other than life itself.
We want to listen better because listening is about information, knowledge, and wisdom.
Listen because your life depends on it.
Without deep listening, we cannot be there for our beloved.
Deep listening connects, heals, and is love.
We want to love deeply ... feel deeply … so let's listen.
Listen deeply.
Let's listen with our heart.

Tickets, Logistics, and Late Policy:
Our 'rounds' of tickets are really simple: they're all the same, except that some of them are cheaper, to encourage you to book in early (because it makes a huge difference to us in terms of planning). Round One tickets are similar to 'early bird' tickets, and make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Two tickets, slightly more expensive than Round One, also make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Three tickets are generally only there once we're close to being sold out, but can squeeze in a late-comer or two. If you're feeling generous, you can buy whatever ticket feels right, but in general, folks buy the cheapest ones available. Tickets range in price from $55 to $75, per person. It is never possible to buy tickets on the door, nor by paying with cash. See our FAQ for more information on this. Workshops start at the advertised time, and doors will be locked ten minutes later. This is because late arrivals interrupt the dynamic of the group, and will miss crucial safety information. |

"Martha, many thanks for a lovely evening. I was amazed at how complete strangers opened up to each other in a controlled and safe environment. Enjoyed the listening experience very much."
•
"Fabulous, fun, friendly. What a fun time I had at your evening. I had a chance to meet new people some of them are friends now. I felt comfortable with how you facilitated it and would recommend it to anyone. I look for to the next one!"
•
"Thank you for the workshop on Deep Listening. I have learnt a new skill to use both at work and in my personal life looking forward to attending more workshops to expand my knowledge :) "
•
"Really eye opener, simple yet effective way of listening that we may ignore in our daily life."
•
"...I just wish to tell you that the workshop was truly insightful for me and I have been sharing to everyone in the festival about what I learned from you ... and that i’ve been practicing what I learned to my relationships (family, friends and partner) ... I am half Filipino and its notable to say that in our culture we love to speak speak speak and talk talk talk alot, and listen less. So we miss out on a lot of wisdom and learnings, in our vain efforts to fill in silence because usually silence can be awkward. But you’ve taught me once again to be completely OK with silence / gaps in conversations and respecting the person speaking in different levels as an intent listener. Silence is a state of mind and not just the absence of audible words between people!"
