Pathways to your Pleasure is an online, guided self-pleasure practice.
Did you know that a major stepping stone to greater pleasure and sensuality is through taking the time to connect with yourself? When times are tough life patterns can form, and we can experience changes in our pleasure, arousal and sexuality. It’s okay, because our bodies and pleasure can be worked on through intimate and pleasurable connection with ourselves!
This 1.75 hour online practice is an embodied guided pleasure meditation, to discover new and wonderful ways to experience pleasure, with yourself. Tess will take us through varied forms of touch, breath, movement and mindfulness techniques through a verbally guided session. This is a chance to explore your body and genitals slowly, curiously and with no agenda. The aim is to discover and ignite more pleasure pathways for your ongoing home self-pleasure practice.
The first half-hour is clothes on, for a meet & greet and the host intro’ing how it will all work.
After setting up your space and taking a quick break, all videos and microphones are off (except the host!) so you may drop into a personal embodied self-pleasure practice, verbally guided by your facilitator, Tess.
After which, we all come back together (clothes on) for a debrief.
What’s ‘embodied?’ Essentially it is a way to further connect your mind to your body and also its’ pleasure using breath, sound, movement and touch. Tess is a neuroscience geek so will hold back on going into the (amazing) details here, but more pleasure pathways can be created if we give our body and mind a chance to connect them.
What’s the goal? Tess’ goal is to offer a guided form of self-touch to help you explore and find new ways of pleasure you may have not yet discovered. To allow you to explore yourself with no expectation, and perhaps get some wonderful new techniques for your own self-pleasuring.
All genital configurations and all genders are most welcome here.
This is not a self pleasuring circle, nor is it a space for full-frontal self-pleasuring with a camera on. This is a guided, personal experience. This session is not about reaching orgasm or any type of climax, it is about exploring pathways to your pleasure (but if you happen to orgasm, of course that’s welcome).
When you book in we will send you details about setting up your space for the optimal experience. Please note that video / webcam is essential for this event, so have a think about what's in the background. You must be in a reasonably quiet room, free from interruptions. It's preferable if you've got a combined headset with microphone for the beginning and end group conversations.

Tickets
Our 'rounds' of tickets are really simple: they're all the same, except that some of them are cheaper, to encourage you to book in early (because it makes a huge difference to us in terms of planning). Round One tickets are similar to 'early bird' tickets, and make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Two tickets, slightly more expensive than Round One, also make up almost half of all ticket sales. Round Three tickets are generally only there once we're close to being sold out, but can squeeze in a late-comer or two. If you're feeling generous, you can buy whatever ticket feels right, but in general, folks buy the cheapest ones available. For this workshop, tickets range in price from $40 to $60, per person. Technology
For most people, a low level of technical knowledge is plenty for this workshop. PLATFORM BEING USED: Zoom (with registration) CAMERAS: Yes during introduction and debrief by host. No during the pleasure practice. HEADPHONES & MICROPHONES: It's preferable if you've got a combined headset with microphone for the beginning and end group conversations. TWO PEOPLE PER LAPTOP?: Yes, noting that exercises will be done separately - it’s for individuals, not couples. ROOM: A reasonably quiet room, free from distractions, is needed. TIMING AND BREAKS: We recognise that Zoom has its advantages, but can be tiring. We include more breaks, accordingly. LATE POLICY: Workshops will be locked to new entrants a few minutes after the advertised start time, otherwise the workshop becomes confusing for you and other participants. Sign up to our newsletter to be notified when new sessions are released (put your location as 'online'). |
WHO THIS IS FOR AND NOT FOR...
INTENSITY: You can take this as easily or intensely as you'd like, however this is a slow, guided practice, so two, or maybe three, out of four chillies.
WHO FOR: Anyone that is interested in learning more about their body, its’ pleasure and different varieties of self-touch.
WHO NOT FOR: Those who are wanting a climax/orgasm from this experience (though that’s fine if it happens). People that want to publicly self-pleasure or watch others self-pleasuring.
WHAT EXERCISES / ACTIVITIES?: A meet and greet, followed by a camera & microphone off, verbal guided pleasure practice.
WILL THERE BE PARTNER WORK?: No.
HOW WILL PARTNERING BE DONE?: Not relevant.
CAN YOU WORK WITH AN EXISTING PARTNER / FRIEND?: This is a solo practice session, for yourself by yourself.
COMMITMENT: You can take this to the level that is right for you including clothes on/off. There will be no moment where people will be visually naked or in pleasure.
RATIO EXPERIENTIAL / THEORETICAL: Mostly experiential. There's a small amount of theory, just to explain how it will all work, and the technology.
WEAR: Anything; there is no dress code. You must be fully clothed at the beginning of this activity, or you will be removed from the group. You will be able to remove clothing once we turn the cameras and sound off - the host will let you know when this is an option. Clothes must be on during all camera-on times.

"Setting up for the workshop was like getting ready for a hot date... with myself! It was incredible to be encouraged to create space to explore my own pleasure and have a sensual mindful experience."
•
"It was perfect. Instructions were clear, kind, inclusive and non-assuming. Tess was warm, friendly and calming. I learnt some new things and had some other things validated."
•
"I loved the encouragement to try out new ways of touching myself and dedicating time to it. It's not often that I would spend more than a few minutes on solo masturbation. Being reminded to focus on areas other than my genitals was great too. Excellent sound track - matched the progress of the practice perfectly. This was well suited to the online format and I enjoyed being in my own bed/space."
•
"This is going to sound silly, but it was much more 'normal' than I was expecting - not that I was expecting anything outrageous, but it was so comfortable and straightforward. The structure was great, the signposting and clarity of instructions were great, the time totally disappeared far too quickly!"
•
"It was a beautiful workshop. The instructions were clear, and the guided practice was powerful in unexpected ways. Tess held the space with real presence, and her tone perfectly flowed with the movements of her hands, soothing and hypnotic. It was lovely and really hot to feel connected to other people doing the same thing, through Tess as our shared focus and guide. Most of all though I feel it was a powerful experience to see and experience that self-touch can be so slow, sensual, reverential and curious (rather than careless and rushing towards that end goal). I’ll definitely be integrating this learning into my life. Thanks Tess!"
•
"Thank you for continuing these types of events during COVID - especially those of us who are single and missing touch so much :) "
•
"I really enjoyed it! I loved the time given before and after the practice, and the guidance through each step of the workshop was fantastic!"
•
"Really enjoyed it, Tess is a great presenter and explained things really clearly. Loved the constant reminder that whatever is right for you is right for you and welcome."
•
"I really enjoyed the workshop - thought it was particularly innovative in adapting to being run on zoom during this time. I felt comfortable and safe during it - and while the content wasn't extremely new to me/revelatory, I did feel very relaxed and blissed out after. It was a unique form of scheduled self care. Tess' manner was great - super genuine and not awkward."
•
"First time in a workshop - it was amazing. Very happy with the way it was held."
•
"I think what stood out to me the most was how lovely it was to set that time aside for myself. I'll happily set time aside for sharing pleasure with another person, but won't ever go to that much trouble just for myself - this was an interesting exercise in testing the boundaries of my feelings towards myself. Thankyou."
•
"I liked the guided practice and the encouragement to explore something different. I wish it went for longer."
•
"The workshop itself was great, Tess is a wonderful facilitator - open, warm and clear. I would have liked even more time to be spent in the guided meditation, perhaps Tess could sell recordings of a longer duration!"
•
"I liked how we were encouraged to try different types of touch and rhythm while touching ourselves."
•
"I found the guided process to gently challenge my habits useful to consider in thinking about asking for what I like and also offering pleasure to others. It helped me move past some barriers to self-love, kindness and tenderness to myself. I feel like it would be useful to do the workshop again in a little while ... it's all too easy to slip into habitual ways of pleasuring to climax."
•
"I already have recommended it to friends. :-) "
•
"I really enjoyed it a lot. Clearly explained, well paced and inspiring. Very affirming for me to 'like what I like', in a more embodied way. The slow pace is so sexy, and although I have sought it in theory, I haven't really experienced it in reality like this before."
